Frequently Asked Questions

We present live music in beautifully designed theatrical environments, and invite audiences to experience great music in surroundings to match. We own a sprawling venue in Central London which we launched mid-pandemic.

One Night Records is:
“The Best Thing To Do In London” (Theatre Weekly);
‘A cure for the Festival withdrawal blues’ - Time Out;
“A joyous celebration of Live Music” (The Stage);
an “Undeniable thrill” (Evening Standard) and three times ‘Best thing To Do This Week’;
“Unmissable” (Everything Theatre).

For the sharp eyes out there, yes, we’ve changed the name of the show from Lockdown Town to Snake Oil; but that's not where the changes stop, with the addition of more music, more to explore and a higher capacity.

We are a contactless only venue!

Inside our huge venue on Wardens Grove, near London Bridge, you'll see a different lineup of musicians every week on our six stages. They’ll play great songs you know, and new hits you'll love. Each set is half an hour, more or less and over the course of the evening there are about eighteen!

We got you covered on drinks - themed bars throughout offer endless opportunities for a great drink.

We recommend coming with an appetite - we have some delicious themed street food.

You are free to move around as you wish. You’ll want to experience as much as you can, but we would love it if you wait till each set is finished.

We are a contactless only venue.

Fully accessible loos but for the initial booking period (until November) we won’t be running a cloakroom.

Tickets are for timed entry, so you can arrive at 7, 7.15, 7.30, or 7.45. The last set is about five hours later. How long you stay is up to you, but there are lots of little easter eggs for late attendees!

Yes! Obviously. One Night Records is the perfect Christmas party, a chance for some escapism, and we do hella group rates. Get in touch at [email protected] for any corporate or Christmas enquiries.

We won ‘Best Covid Safe Live Music Event of 2020’ and operated through three different sets of guidelines, so we feel confident in being able to respond to changing circumstances! Let’s see what the future brings.

We’ll always follow the advice of Public Health England and our esteemed government, but rest assured we won’t postpone or cancel unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Drugs - no. Anyone with drugs or suspected of having drugs will be booted straight out. Sex - take it home. (Remember: we are a contactless only venue! Wink)

Nope. Just you, in smart vintage attire if you like, and several hours of truly fantastic music, in a delicate and incredible time-shifting maze that will beguile your every sense.

Step Free Access
The entire venue is wheelchair accessible. Please note that our narrowest door measures 73cm in width.

We will also need to ask if you have any particular access requirements when attending the event. This is so we can pass on any specific information to our Front of House team on the day, to ensure we can make any necessary arrangements in advance.

This page contains information about Accessibility – but if you have a specific question, please email [email protected]

We have a Carers ticket and an NHS offer too - see for more
