Artists & Creatives
I am a producer and director that specialises in immersive and interactive productions. I am the founder of COLAB Theatre and have been the Director of the company for the last 6 years. It’s grown from a one-person company to a company that now runs 3 productions a year and has 4 venues in London Bridge including the COLAB Factory which has housed the Immersive Great Gatsby, Coney, Parabolic Theatre and many others. Collectively the venues have over 60,000 people a year coming through the doors pre Covid. It’s a company I’m really proud of and it’s a company I have solely run for 6 years so have seen and managed the entire transition. Recently on top of COLAB shows (especially my favourite CROOKS 1926) I directed a launch for Halo Wars 2 with Microsoft and The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Iris Theatre – Covent Garden.
My dad is a pianist by profession so luckily some of his musicality rubbed off on me. He had strong influences from rock and roll and the blues which is what drew me to this production. My room was above his studio so I would frequently fall asleep to Fats Domino, Eddie Floyd, Average White Band, Lee Dorsey, Wilson Pickett, Booker T, Chuck Berry and Little Richard blasting out the speakers. He’s had an incredible career which taught me that you can do what you love and it’s one of my favourite things to see him play today - the man’s made of music so hopefully I am a bit too.
